073 - Oh God No, COURTNEY LOVE!

NEWZ&UPDATEZ / 4-10-2004:

- I want to apologize for those of you who were freaked out when the site went down the other day.  I'd apparently contracted a virus that Trojaned onto my system and Host Save, my server, considered my site security to be compromised.  The virus has since been deleted and hopefully everything is back to normal.
Anyway, today's comic.  Now the other day I mentioned that book I'm obsessed with now Hollywood Interrupted, which denounces celebrities as nothing but ammoral scumbags.  Well, guess what?  Courtney Love has her own fucking chapter.
Courtney has been a figure that's fascinated me for quite some time.   A lot of people have accused her of Kurt Cobain's murder, and while I confess I don't know if that's true or not if it is the karma of it all has certainly caught up with her.  If they somehow proved she had done it I don't think it matters, I consider her too pathetic a figure to even punish.  She's beyond our wrath, for she is ultimately her own worst enemy.  When I saw her on Letterman when she got up on his desk and flashed him I equated it to watching the Anna Nicole Smith Show, like watching date rape in motion (except Anna is somehow classier.  I NEVER thought I'd say that).   Then she started to ramble on, defending herself against stuff no one accused her of, which as you can see is where today's comic comes from.  It reallys make me sad, because she's actually said some poignant stuff.  If you want to read her lecture on the sorry state of the music industry today, click here.

- The Mentor founded this new MSN Group that she's opening up to our audience.  Though to warn you, if you want to accept it you'll need a .Net Passport and no empty applications.  But  you can take care of that on the screen I'm linking you to anyway so it shouldn't be too much of a big deal.   It will also be available on the Mixed Media page.  Midnight Skies

- Another rant on the state of the nation from our beloved Mentor.  ANYTHING BUT BUSH part 2

- My birthday was on the 10th of February and I celebrated on the 20th with the rest of the Oh Goodie! family with pizza, video games, and the unveiling of the new mural I painted in my bedroom.   Check it out here.  The Wrath of Uriel unveiling
